The problem is if we are striving to get all these other country’s to be a “developed” country like America or the UK we will need atleast 3 more planet worth of materials to cope.
Its great that all the charities work together- because if everyone is saying the same thing in the same way it will be possible to get the message across! Its all about helping people to help themselves!
I think that what GCAP is trying to do is fantastic- however, for global poverty to be resolved corrupt regimes in third world countries must routed out and then debt must be cancelled to prevent aid being superfluous and super seeded by debt!
On October 16-17, people all over the world will Stand Up And Speak Out as part of the continuing fight against global poverty and inequality. Join this huge show of strength by the global anti-poverty movement.
